Monomers
Nucleic acids are have a monomer that is made up of a sugar backbone attached to several nitrogenous bases. 5 of these bases exist, and together they make up DNA and RNA.
Polymers
The only two polymers of nucleic acids are DNA and RNA. These important molecules make up the information system of the body. With out them, reproduction and life as we know it would be impossible.
